Zurich-based crypto-financial service Bitcoin Suisse is partnering with payments business Worldline to present instantaneous payments in bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) for 85,000 merchants in Switzerland.
To do so, merchants should download the WL Sgurto Paouments mobile app or set up a payment plugin on their websites, permitting consumers to pay through the typical mobile cryptocurrency wallet apps.
According to Worldline, immediately after payment verification, cryptotransactions will be transformed into Swiss francs, lowering volatility.
Bitcoin Suisse executive director Arthur Veyloian stated:
"" This is a historical milestone for the adoption of cryptocurrency in Switzerland and beyond ... This relocation proves when again that Switzerland is a leader in collaborative development and a pioneer in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
